Tod Box Terms & Conditions
By submitting an order to Tod Box (a brand name of Cargodale CIC) you agree to the following terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are intended to apply to consumers only – if you are a business customer of Cargodale CIC., separate terms will apply. If you’re a business customer and you have any questions, contact us here
Placing an order
There is a minimum value of £5 for orders placed through Tod Box.
Orders must be made before 11.59pm on Tuesday to guarantee delivery on Friday of that week.
Any orders placed after 11.59pm on Tuesday will be delivered the following Friday.
We may require you to create an account to place an order. As an account holder, you agree to keep your login and payment details secure and be responsible for any purchases made on this account.
Acceptance of your order and completion of your purchase takes place when we email you to confirm that your order is being prepared for dispatch. Up to this time you may amend or cancel your order by contacting us using the email cargodaletodmorden@gmail.com.
The price of each item in the order will be as stated on our website.
Delivery and substitutions
Orders must be made before 11.59pm on Tuesday to guarantee delivery on Friday of that week.
Any orders placed after 11.59pm on Tuesday will be delivered the following Friday.
We deliver within a specific area of the Calder Valley, covering most (but not all) postcodes beginning with OL14 and HX7. Our delivery area can be viewed here - contact us if you’re not sure whether it includes you. Delivery outside this area can only be made by agreement with us.
We reserve the right to alter our delivery area without notice. Any orders placed prior to a delivery area change that subsequently fall outside our delivery area will still be honoured.
If no-one is in at the time of delivery, we will leave your order in a safe place (please specify a suitable one in the delivery instructions) and attempt to contact you. We may ask a neighbour to look after your order for you – if you’d prefer us not to do this, please let us know in the delivery instructions.
Please be aware that your order may contain perishable items. In the event that your order is left unattended, we accept no responsibility for loss or deterioration of these items, although we will take reasonable steps to ensure that they reach you in the best possible condition.
In the event of adverse or extreme weather affecting our delivery, we will attempt to notify you as soon as possible.
In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order due to unavailability of one or more products, we may contact you to discuss acceptable substitutions.
Box contents may vary slightly due to availability of individual products. If this happens, we will endeavour to contact you before fulfilling your order.
If you have a recurring order, it is your responsibility to notify us if you are unavailable to take delivery during a particular time period (e.g. if you go on holiday).
Privacy and security
By placing an order with Tod Box, you agree to your name, address and contact details being shared with our delivery riders, and you agree that we may use these to contact you regarding your order.
We will not contact you in relation to anything unrelated to your order unless you have specifically agreed to this – for example, by signing up to our newsletter (hint, hint).
Problems and refunds
If there is a problem with any part of your order, please contact us immediately. We will endeavour to replace any missing or damaged items on the same day as your scheduled delivery. If this is not possible, we will refund you for the cost of these. Please note that this does not apply to loss or deterioration of items which have been left unattended due to circumstances that you failed to notify us of.
All refunds and replacements are made at the discretion of Cargodale CIC and do not constitute an admission of liability.
